Big banging hops dominate this beer. The oily massiveness of the cryo hops used in this beer deliver a whopping aroma of citrus, berries and stone fruit. As with many of our beers, we like to use a little crystal malt to give it that gorgeous colour and a little sweet malt note to help carry the hugeness of these hops and their bitterness. As ominous as Dr Hoptavius may seem, the beer has a beautiful balance which leaves in awe of the fact it is a Double IPA.
