Five Barrel Wild Russel NZ IPA

India Pale Ale from Five Barrel — 6.2% ABV

his beer was a collaboration between our friends @searchlightbrewery in Queenstown NZ.

Wild Russell is another name for Lupins that grow everywhere in New Zealand especially along the Road Side.

We decided to collaborate on a beer for the 2022 New Zealand IPA competition at Smiths Craft beer House in Queenstown. The beer was brewed for the competition in New Zealand at Searchlight. We were always going to brew a batch here in Australia but due to a delay in our New Zealand hops arriving we put it on hold.

Now we have finally been able to brew this amazing NZ IPA.
