From modest home kitchen beginnings to national distribution in the present date, Butterbing has come a long way over the past 7 years. Today, Simone Clarke and her team of 17 talented women continue to innovate and expand on the lush flavour catalogue of their popular brownie cookie, a task us here at Bodriggy Brewing Co. are pleased to be a part of. In a meeting of the minds, Bodriggy Head Brewer Tristan Barlow and Simone aimed to design a beer that could capture the essence of the smash hit Sticky Date Pudding buttercream flavouring in new form.

The result is a silky, smooth pastry stout featuring a robust mouthfeel and boisterous vanilla throughout the palate. Pouring a dark-brown hue, rich caramel, chocolate, coffee, and toffee malt characters impersonate the brownie layers of Melbourne's favourite cookie, while light fruity esters and a sweet date syrup create the iconic filling.
