Weissenoher Bonator Doppelbock
Wheat Beer — 8% ABV
A dark brown Doppelbock, spicy and rich. As tradition dictates a Bock should be. Liquids don’t break the fast – this was a generally accepted rule for fasting times during the times of the Benedictine monks in Weissenhoe. Due to this, the Doppelbock became the monk's liquid food during these times, especially in Lent, the longest of these periods.
Honouring this tradition, we made our rich Bonator beer a dark, strong Doppelbock, to aide you mental and physical strength during times of fasting!
