A bottom-fermented, dark-amber beer in the style of Dunkel. It is medium-bodied, with a pleasing aroma of roast malt, caramel and hints of smokiness. The rich malty flavour is quite sweet, but remains well-balanced against a growing bitterness. This is a smooth, graceful beer with below average carbonation.
